Bill Brown

President

William A “Bill” Brown is a senior level healthcare executive with top hospital and regional healthcare management experience. He has held Chief Executive Officer positions at nine hospitals in Kentucky, Chicago, New York City and the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Bill was also the Chief Operating Officer of a major healthcare system in Louisville. His experience includes public, not-for-profit, for-profit, faith-based, secular and academic affiliated healthcare organizations. In addition, he is a graduate of Leadership Louisville, Encore Louisville, is a Bingham Fellow and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. 


Bill, a former New York City Public high school teacher, has had a 35-year commitment to youth development, family and children’s services, healthcare, arts and economic development with extensive Board Leadership experience to include Home of the Innocents, Kentucky Art and Crafts Foundation, The Louisville Ballet, The Downtown Economic Development Corporation of Louisville, various YMCAs, Mercy Hospital and Medical Center of Chicago, Paducah Economic Development Corporation, Mercy Regional Medical Services - McCracken County, Kentucky, the Montessori School of Louisville and as a member of the Resource Development Committee of Waterfront Botanical Gardens. 


Bill, a native of New York City, is a graduate of Fordham University with a Bachelor’s degree in economics and he holds an MBA from Iona College in New Rochelle, New York. He considers Louisville his home. Bill and his wife and business partner, Mickey, have a son and a daughter, work as a team at MB Brown Strategy Group and are both active community volunteers.
